What is RSS?

  • RSS - RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" also known as "Rich Site Summary".

  • RSS Feed - An RSS feed is an XML file with a websites latest news headlines
    formated for use with any RSS reader.

  • RSS Reader - An RSS reader is a program on your computer or a website that offers
    RSS reader capabilities("Google Reader, Bloglines, FeedShow")

Subscribe to an RSS Feed

  • select an RSS Feed link
  • right click on the web address(URL) and paste the address into your
    RSS Reader
  • users with web reader services(Google Reader, My Yahoo, Bloglines) click on
    the subscribe button provided to add the feed to your account.
